Sphagnum Peat Moss is the Perfect Growing Medium for Cannabis

A peat moss medium requires a lot less work to set up than a hydroponic or aquaponic medium

Peat offers several benefits to the cannabis grower:

– peat moss encourages the proliferation of a healthy community of microorganisms

-break down organic matter and help make nutrients more readily available to the roots

Peat moss medium bring cannabis yields to the next level

Substrates for medical cannabis plant growing

Fine structure for the propagation phase

White milled peat 0-7mm
White sod (cut) peat 0-7mm
Black milled peat 0-10mm

Fine

Extra light, free-flowing, with improved drainage due to fine structure sod (cut) peat. Suitable for cannabis propagation in trays, paper pots and small pots < 8 cm

Medium to large pots 1 to 5 l and gutters

White milled peat 0-20mm
White sod (cut) peat 7-15mm
Peat fibers
Black milled peat 0-20mm

Medium

Medium coarse fibrous mixes, free draining with long-term structural stability during cultivation.

Large pots and containers with 5 to 100 l volume

White milled peat 0-40mm
White sod (cut) peat 15-25mm
Peat fibers
Black milled peat 0-20mm

Coarse fibrous

Peat fibers and high-quality sod peat used to create an ideal physical structure with high air content for healthy root development.

When cultivating with cannabis, peat moss can help provide two important things to any garden: aeration and moisture. Coarse, clumpy chunks of peat moss work better for soil mixtures than thin, wispy peat moss.

Peat moss must be kept evenly moist in order for plants to grow their best. Avoid letting it dry out, because it will once again be resistant to absorbing water and will require attention and treatment.

Your cannabis plants will grow very well in a peat moss soil mixture right from the start.

Signs of Good Cannabis Soil:

  • Appears slightly dark and rich
  • Loose texture
  • Drains well (doesn’t make a pool on top of your soil for more than a couple of seconds and doesn’t take forever to drain out the bottom)
  • Holds water without getting muddy (you want wet soil, not dirt-batter)

This substrate has a spongy feel to it. It’s a mixture of the best Sphagnum peat moss without any additives, just starter fertilizers and wetting agent, so you can treat your plants whatever way you like. Another special quality of this particular mixture is its capacity to retain nutrients.

  • pH buffered to 5,7 – 5.9 limestone flour (calcium carbonate)
  • Quality peat provide ideal material also for self-mixing substrates
  • Added wetting agent provide excellent water absorbtion properties
  • Enhanced moisture retention suitable for germination
  • Balanced air-filled porosity and high nutrient retention capacity (CEC)
  • Made of screened premium Baltic sphagnum peat
  • Simple fertilizing control
  • Good water uptake properties
  • Free flowing growing media to fill even the deepest root trainer
  • Great value for money
