Products for Tree Nursery and Ornamental Plants

Container substrates

Horticultur Grade

1. Container substrates for transplanting

2. Developed for annuals and perennials

3. Ideal for potted trees and shrubsbs

Correct mix plays a key role in the structural stability of the rootzone

Areapeat container substrates is loaded with quality, functional ingredients that allow users to easily create nursery grade pots greenhouse and open field usage!

  • High water retention and buffering capacity of pH-value because of
    the frozen black peat
  • Better drainage and root development by the share of white sod peat
  • Quicker water absorption in case of drying out by the high share of
    white peat

Desirable physical and agrochemical properties of a substrate are essential

AREAPEAT CONTAINER GROWING MEDIA

  • Simply use the peat as a regular container mix
  • Higher water holding capacity than cheap bark or coco coir based container mixes
  • Great choice for achieving strong growing results
  • Improved water holding in light soils, providing greater drought resistance and more efficient water utilization
  • Contains humus, assisting in soil aggregation and making nutrients more available to plants

Grow Like a Pro

  • Professional-grade coarse structure peat substrate

    • Highest quality milled and naturally dried block peat

    • Low content of peat small particles (o-2mm) provide lightweight and high aeration for root zone

    • Peat mix is ideal for tree and shrubs nursery, perennials and ornamental plants

    • Enhanced moisture retention suitable for plant growing in hot climate if mixed with black peat

    • Balanced air-filled porosity and high nutrient retention capacity (CEC)

    • Long term anti-compacting of coarse and extra coarse structure peat

  • Does not compact

Although peat absorbs water well, unlike normal garden soil, it did not compact. A common problem is that it is difficult to create space for both sufficient water and the necessary air permeability. Incorporating peat moss into any compact material solves the problem of compaction and improves water drainage of the mixture. The second important condition is time. Often, the soil substrate initially provides good air access to the roots, but after time (a few months) begins to become denser, until the air access decreases to the point where it starts to press the roots.
